• Can I use your sounds in my music?

  • Yes. Our sounds are 100% royalty free. You are purchasing a license to use our sounds in your recordings. You may use our sounds in commercially released musical compositions without paying any additional royalties or fees. If your order is refunded, this license is revoked.

     

    Samples From Mars is the owner and master licensee of all sounds sold on this site, and the license granted to you is non-transferable. You may not re-distribute these products or sounds in any way, free or paid, individually or as a group. You may only use these sounds in music; you may not use these sounds in any website, application, or software. If you are interested in that you can contact us to purchase a license.

• What if I didn't receive an email with my download link?

  • Your download is available instantly, in addition to being emailed to you. If you didn't receive an email, please check your spam box if you did not receive an email with your download links. If for some reason you missed the download links after checkout and did not receive our email, contact us and we'll get you the links within 12 hrs (and usually much faster). 

• What if my download doesn't work or times out?

  • Our download system is very reliable (Amazon S3), but sometimes it can take up to 5 minutes for your download to be processed and emailed to you. You will have 2 opportunities to download your sample library with no expiration. Our downloads go smoothly 98% of the time! But you can always contact us and we will help you out within 24 hrs (usually less).

• What formats are your sample libraries?

  • All of our libraries are zip files. With a Mac, you'll only need to double click the file to uncompress it. With a PC, you will need a program such as Winzip. If you find the file doesn't uncompress, it means it became corrupted during download and you should try your download again. Once uncompressed, you'll see our sample folders / files, which are all 24bit, 44.1 KHz WAV files. We chose 44.1 KHz over 48 KHz because it is a slightly more popular sample rate; anytime you convert sample rates there is the potential for minor distortion, and we aim to limit these instances as much as possible.

• Is your site secure enough to give you my credit card information?

  • Absolutely, 100%. Your information is run by Shopify, which is certified Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant. They invest significant time and money in obtaining this certificate and remaining extremely secure. You can also use Paypal.

• How does your refund policy work?

  • We offer a 7 day money back guarantee because we're confident in all of our products. Just give us some helpful feedback about what you didn't like. Contact us at info@samplesfrommars.com and we will refund your money in full within 24 hrs.
